Brain Training with Exoskeleton and VR Spurs Recovery for Paraplegics
An international team of researchers designed a brainmachine interface. With virtual reality, and robotic exoskeletons, this device might help paraplegic patients regain their ability to walk or to feel their lower bodies again. The work is part of the Walk Again Project. In Taiwan, for the manufacturing and import of medical devices, an application together with fees paid, shall be filed with the central competent health authority for registration and market approval. No manufacturing and importation shall be allowed until a medical device permit license is approved and issued.
