An Initial Exploration of the Development of Genetic Information Protection Regime
本文從遺傳資訊在個人資料保護領域上的定位、遺傳資訊歧視，以及超越個人的遺傳資訊保護議題等三方面出發，初步盤點國際間相關議題的發展。隨著遺傳領域技術的進步，許多國家已將遺傳資訊明列為特種個資，或將遺傳資訊歧視議題以立法規範。在過去，隨著技術的進步，遺傳資訊保護議題已經在本世紀有了許多的進展；隨著新技術的突破，此一領域的規範發展也將變得更加成熟。
This article explicates the development of genetic information protection regime in the fields of personal data protection, genetic information discrimination and the protection of genetic information beyond the individual. It has been found that with the advancement of technology in the field of genetics, many countries have listed genetic information as special categories of personal data or legislation on the subject of genetic information discrimination. In the past, with the advancement of technology, the issue of genetic information protection has made a lot of progress in this century. We can expect that with the breakthrough of new technologies, the legal regime of genetic information protection will become more mature.
