Korean Medical Law about national disease disaster from prevention to compensation in the case of MERS
MERS(Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus,中東呼吸症候群冠狀病毒感染症)毫無疑問是韓國的一大夢魘。
MERS was a certain nightmare to Korea. First patient appeared on May 20, 2015. After 70 days later, it was extricated on July 28. For 2 months Korea had been broken down. Cancellation of official and casual meetings, travelling was so prevalent. 2,700 schools was shutdown, hospital become empty, airport was uncrowded. People were afraid of contacting with each other. Domestic economy fell down and socioeconomic damages estimated more than 10 trillion won (275,558,004, 960 TWD). Damages were much worse than foot and mouth disease case and swine flu case.
