Medical Negligence and the Principle of Reliance

病患就診時，就其前已為檢查檢驗之結果，經醫師信賴並採用作為診斷及治療之決定依據時，如醫師之信賴為相當，縱使該檢查檢驗結果有誤，仍應有信賴原則之適用，醫師即無須對該檢查結果之錯誤負責。

When a patient visits a doctor, and bring the results of the previously known examination and test, which are trusted by the doctor and used as a determining basis for diagnosis and treatment. So if the reliance of doctor is equivalent, even if the results of the previously known examination and test were wrong, the principle of reliance should still be applicable for the case. And it is not necessary for the doctor to be responsible for the incorrect results of examination.
