Performing Non-therapeutic Surgery Must Fulfill the Obligation to Disclose
醫療美容行為若屬非必要之治療行為，醫療機構或醫師應將伴隨該醫療美容行為之併發症風險，詳細對病人履行告知說明義務，不得將醫療美容當成商品，任由醫護人員向病人推銷、勸說，讓病人於欠缺該併發症之風險資訊下而為醫療決定，承受併發症之風險。
If aesthetic plastic treatments are unnecessary therapeutic procedures, staffs of medical institutions or physicians must inform patients about risks of complications of the treatments. The medical staffs should not be allowed to sell and persuade the aesthetic plastic treatments as commodities to the patients. When the patients endure the risks of complications because they made a decision of medical treatments without the information of complications, the physicians violate the obligation to disclose.
