Pandemic and Misinformation: Rethinking the Paradox of Democracy
當COVID-19蔓延時，數位空間成了人們經常群聚互動的場域，真假莫辨的數位訊息也隨之充斥其間，如何打擊假訊息遂成為政府「智慧防疫」時必須面對的問題。本文試從民主的角度出發，思索假訊息防制與民主法治的交互關聯。
Whilst COVID-19 keeps ravaging the world, digital virtual space becomes a perfect platform for social gathering without breaking the rule of social distancing; however, social media is also interspersed with misinformation. Therefore, fighting misinformation becomes a pressing issue when the government itself also relies on digital technology to prevent the further spread of COVID-19. This work, thus, discusses the reciprocal relationship between the democracy and the prevention of misinformation.
