Modern mediation is base on psychological theory. Therapeutic mediation has overlap with psychological counseling a lot in turn of concept and application, even more hence causing confusing easily. The theory and application of philosophic counseling are rarely known comparing to psychological counseling. This article compares difference between them so as mediation and counseling in order to focus special characters of caring style mediation to be more widely understood by every field.
