A Health-Monitoring Sticker: More Immediate, More Convenient
為了更精確地收集人體生理變化，且免於侵入性醫療行為，生醫產業近期研發出一種新型貼片式心跳或日光曝曬量監測器，不需要電池，只要有裝載「近距離無線通訊」（near field communication, NFC）晶片的手機或平板電腦，由其無線電波供應動力，這項設備未來可能被應用在醫院或睡眠監測。由於此類健康監測工具屬於醫療器材，因此將受臺灣醫療器材管理辦法之管制。
A health-monitoring sticker is just like a tattoo and that doesn’t need a battery. It is powered by a cell phone or tablet that’s equipped with a near-field communications (NFC) chip. It has a sensor that can measure blood oxygen. The invention of health-monitoring sticker means healthmonitoring gadgets could be cheaper, smaller, and more lightweight than ever before. In order to protect citizen’s health, Medical device is strictly regulated in Taiwan. According to Regulations for Governing the Management of Medical Device: Medical device are classified into 3 classes according to their level of risks.
