Legal Analysis on the PRP Therapy
高濃度血小板血漿治療已被廣泛用於許多醫療領域，包括骨科、泌尿科和運動相關的損傷。然而，近幾年醫美也開始興起高濃度血小板血漿注射療程，許多醫美診所宣稱高濃度血小板血漿具有回復童顏、活化肌膚之功效。據此，衛生福利部已針對高濃度血小板血漿作出相關函釋，指出高濃度血小板血漿是否具有回春功效目前尚無文獻證實。雖然醫生使用高濃度血小板血漿療程是因看好其正面效用，但對於如何能最有效使用高濃度血小板血漿卻知之甚少。從而，高濃度血小板血漿療法仍有待更多臨床試驗證明之。
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy has been broadly used in several medical fields as a treatment, including orthopedic, urology and sports-related injuries. During the past few years, however, the beauty industry has also started using PRP injection to patients, claiming that it could repair and rejuvenate the skin. Taiwan Ministry of Health and Welfare has thus issued several orders stating that it remains unclear as to whether PRP has the efficacy to restore the youth. While doctors use PRP for its positive effects on its outcomes, little is known about how PRP works or how best to use it. Therefore, the benefits of PRP therapy and recommendations still require more evidence from clinical trials.
