醫療院所性騷擾之防治與處理【本期企劃】 試閱
The Prevention and the Handling of Sexual Harassments in Hospitals
近年來,兩性在職場上之區隔現象已逐漸消除,過去臺灣醫療服務體系於傳統上多為男性主導,然而目前這種情況已有逐步改善之趨勢。在此情形下,如何俾利各類性別群體於工作場所內和諧相處並保障其工作權,可說更具性。醫療院所因工作環境特殊,兼及專業服務之提供,發生其中之性騷擾事件,除係屬就業及接受專業服務之性別歧視行為,對於被害人本身、雇主及事業單位,甚至整個社會均會產生負面影響,同時也涉及人身安全及個人尊嚴之爭議。本文逐一臚列在性騷擾事件發生時,可資運用的現行法規依據,並逐一分析院內各單位可為因應的防治方式。
The gender gap in the workplace has gradually been bridged in recent decades. For instance, in the medical service sector, women have made inroads into a once heavily male dominated realm. The importance of optimizing the relationship among different genders in the workplace is even more crucial now. This is especially true in healthcare, where sexual harassment and sexual discrimination could detrimentally impact society as a whole should it affect employment or treatment. It could also be a dispute concerning individual well-being and dignity. This article discusses the legal sources which would allow hospitals to prevent incidents of sexual harassment from occurring.
