The Corona crisis is still the dominant topic in the media; despite all the diversity of opinion, one thing seems clear: an effective vaccine could save Germany and the whole world from the epidemic. However, the vaccine approval is not only a challenging technical and scientific procedure, but also a very challenging legal issue within the multilevel system of the European Union, the Federal Republic of Germany as a member state of the European Union and the German federal states. This article also deals with the procedure optimization between vaccine manufacture and its purchase.
