對抗新冠肺炎的疫苗施打正在進行，疫苗施打率也日益升高。防疫政策的目標是：在秋天應該要達到群體免疫（Herdenimmunität）。與此同時，許多質疑也於焉而生：如果沒有普遍的疫苗施打義務，這個目標是否真的能夠達至。就憲法而言，疫苗接種義務（Impfpflicht）並未被排除，但門檻卻相當地高；基本法對此設下了許多嚴格的前提條件。
The vaccination against COVID-19 is on going and the rate of it is increasing. The goal of anti-pandemic is that the herd immunity should be achieved in (the last) fall. Meanwhile, many questions have arisen as to whether this goal can really be achieved without vaccinating generally. In respect of Constitution, the obligation of vaccination is not excluded, but the threshold is quite high. German Basic Law sets many strict perquisites for it.
