本件產婦生產後因肺栓塞造成心因性及呼吸性休克，雖經緊急手術救治但終至死亡。產婦之家屬對醫師起訴請求賠償，一審、二審法院為原告部分勝訴，惟遭更一審法院完全否定賠償之請求。本文涉及醫療過失、醫療常規、轉診義務、醫療水準等議題。本文將簡要介紹本件歷審判決，並以轉診義務為中心進行評析。

This multipara expired postpartum due to pulmonary embolism. The district court and the high court found partially for the plaintiff, yet the supreme court reversed and remanded, eventually the high court found for the defendant. This article comments on this case with reference to medical negligence, medical guideline, medical standards, obligation of transfer.
