新中醫藥法是中國乃至全球中醫藥領域首部基礎性、綱領性立法，它的出台具有堅實的政策和地方法律基礎。這部法案明確了中醫藥事業發展的三大核心要素、首創若干機制，以及構建了符合中醫藥特點的制度體系和監管措施。新中醫藥法也將促進配套細則之制定，並推動中國中醫藥地方性法律的修改和完善。
The Law on Traditional Chinese Medicine newly published in China is the fundamentally, programmatic legislation in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China and even the global. The politic and local legislation foundation of the document published is solidly and strongly. This law is to define the three core element of Traditional Chinese Medicine development, to establishment some regime or mechanism and to stipulate the legal systems and administrative supervision measure fitted for the feature of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The Law on Traditional Chinese Medicine newly published in China will also promote the draft on the implement rules of this law and revision or completion of local legislation on Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.
