Corona vaccination should be carried out as soon as possible, especially in the very elderly. Compared to the average of the total population, this group of people is particularly often under care. Even in times of Corona crisis and with the eagerly awaited vaccinations, the right of self determination of these persons must be respected. Failure to do so may result in civil or even criminal penalties. The legal implications of the application of the Law of Adult Protection in the context of Corona vaccination for patients, the medical profession and caregivers of proxies are presented below.
