The Country’s Role in the Process of Self-Sufficiency and Expansion of Medical Professional Interests: Based on the Incident of Ze-Xi Wei
Medical professional interests has three characteristics: Altruism, self-sufficiency and expansion. And what is important is that the country’s role in the process of selfsufficiency and expansion determines whether or not medical profession can develop favorably under the support of medical professionalism. From the arguments on the high-profile incident in which Ze-Xi Wei died after medical treatment, we can see, the missing responsibility of the country is ignored by arguers. The relationship between self-sufficiency and expansion of medical professional interests and responsibility of the country should straitened out ulteriorly. Some measures can also be done to promote health system reform smoothly: to enhance medical professional self-sufficiency, to exit the excessive regulation from the country, to carry out the corresponding regulatory responsibilities, and to coordinate the interests of all parties.
