相信許多人在寫作時都有相同的問題，那就是英文句子一直擺脫不了中式英文。即使擺脫了，也並不順遂，因為難以自在地寫出俐落而精湛的句子。正因為這種桎梏，很多人所寫的英文句子常顯累贅和軟弱，乏論美、力量，當然更缺乏吸引力。

1. 文法正確
2. 文字細膩
3. 語意清晰
4. 句子精簡並有力
5. 充滿魅力

當然，英文的句型若要真正脫胎換骨，還是需要藉助大量的造句練習。下列示範幾個初級英文及高級英文的句子以供對照參考。

例1：他們失去了信心，並且變得很畏怯。
【基礎英文】They have lost their confidence, and they have become timid.
【高級英文】Timidity replaces confidence.

例2：這一堂課，我們能用的語言，僅有英語。
【基礎英文】In this class, English is the only language we can use.
【高級英文】This class is conducted exclusively in English.

例3：如果你今日夠努力的話，明日必有成功的果實。
【基礎英文】If you work hard enough today, youll reap the fruit of success tomorrow.
【高級英文】Your efforts today shall be abundantly rewarded.

例4：無論你有多累，都不該那麼做！
【基礎英文】No matter how tired you were, you shouldnt have done that!
【高級英文】Fatigue cant justify your behavior.

例5：台灣四季分明，而且各有各的美。
【基礎英文】The four seasons are all different from one another, yet each has its own beauty.
【高級英文】Distinctive beauty is found in each of the four seasons in Taiwan.
